Averill Park, NY (July 16, 2019) – Grow Exceptional announces the addition of Steve Banis as EOS ImplementerTM and facilitator of Patrick Lencioni’s Five Dysfunctions of a Team workshop for leadership teams in New York’s Capital Region and the eastern United States.

Grow Exceptional was founded in 2015 by Dave Borland with the goal of helping business leaders get unstuck, operate better and to get what they really want from their businesses.  Grow Exceptional provides experienced EOS Implementation, having conducted hundreds of sessions, leadership workshop facilitations.  Steve Banis also brings short-term or fractional marketing leadership to select clients, to help give their marketing operation focus and momentum.

Steve launched his career as a principal of his family’s financial advisory firm. By age 27, he’d helped to raise growth capital for several businesses, managed over $50 million in assets and advised company leaders on strategic decisions.

After selling the firm, Steve held executive marketing positions with Fortune 500 firms such as New York Life, CNA Financial (Chicago) and Jackson National (Los Angeles) where he ultimately built and led a marketing team serving 11 business units generating sales in excess of $7 billion per year.

‘The popularity and effectiveness of EOS® has driven the growth of our practice to the point where my personal capacity to help more businesses thrive has become limited,” says Dave Borland, “Steve is an outstanding business advisor with a great track record, and adding him to my team allows us to help more leadership teams implement EOS® and experience the team-cohesion benefits of the Five Dysfunctions of a Team model.

Since 2002, Steve has returned to his roots by bringing his experience and passion to small and medium-sized businesses.  He has collaborated with dozens of business owners and leadership teams to build and execute their plans for growth.

“One of the great lessons I’ve learned is that most leadership teams are full of smart people that can develop great strategies and that really know their stuff. What separates the winners from the also-rans is focused execution and teamwork.  That’s where a commitment to a process like EOS® and a model like Five Dysfunctions becomes their real competitive advantage.”

Steve is based New York’s Capital Region and works with east coast / Mid-Atlantic clients from New York to Florida.  Learn more about Steve here.
