Dave Borland
Dave is a four time entrepreneur. Three of his businesses have made the top five in the Albany Business Review’s Capital Region Book of Lists, in three different categories. His past company clients have included raw startups, regional powerhouses, and large global enterprises. His teams have won almost two dozen regional and national awards. Dave has served and currently serves on several for-profit and not-for-profit boards.
Dave helps leadership teams of good, established small to mid-size companies to implement “Traction” – training, coaching, and facilitating the team to implement EOS, the Entrepreneurial Operating System®. Since selling his last business in late 2014, he’s held over 600 sessions to over 50 clients around the continental United States.
As a Certified EOS Implementer®, Dave is not a consultant who’s “in” your business daily, telling you what to do in minute detail. Rather – Dave trains, coaches, and facilitates your leadership team on a simple process that aligns all the components of your business – so that you and your leadership team can produce the results you want.

Things to know about Dave
- Dave has been there, done that! He’s worn all of the hats, from employee to fledgeling startup entrepreneur, to company president.
- His last company implemented EOS® after needing a serious turnaround. Luckily, the system worked for them, as they were able to turn profit around by three quarters of a million dollars within six months.
- After exiting that company, Dave actually loves to travel to his clients, helping them implement the EOS process. The warner climate the better (but he doesn’t love his northern clients any less – it’s better there in the summer and fall).
- His attitude with clients is easy going, but at the right times also keep things serious and focused.
