What is the EOS Model™?

To break through the ceiling and make your business exceptional, the EOS Model™ indicates each of the six key components of the business that must all be strong.

Vision Component™

It’s critical to get 100 percent of the people in the organization on the same page with where you’re going – and how you’re going to get there. EOS uses a tool called the Vision/Traction Organizer™ (the V/TO™) to summarize these, and it’s done by answering eight questions.

People Component™

You can’t achieve a great vision without great people. Every organization may define what makes great people differently. In EOS®, it comes down to having the right people in the right seats. We’ll define the “right people” by discovering your true core values. We’ll define the “right seats” by developing what is called an accountability chart, which indicates the role’s functions and responsibilities.

Data Component™

Once you have a vision, a strong data component means you are running your business on objective facts and figures, rather than intuition or subjective feelings and emotions. These criteria for tracking progress are transparent, allowing the good and the bad to become crystal clear. EOS® uses a tool called the Scorecard™.

Issues Component™

From strong Vision, People and Data components comes a clarifying of the issues that need to be solved.  Strengthening the issues component means becoming exceptional at solving problems as they arise – and making them go away permanently.  The main tool you’ll use in the Issues component is called “IDS™” – to Identify, Discuss and Solve.

Process Component™

Process is making sure that the most important activities in your business are done the right and best way every time. Process is the lever by which you create consistency and scalability for your business – creating what we refer to as the “franchise model.” It makes your business easier to manage, more profitable and more fun.

Traction Component™

Traction is the means by which your vision is brought down to the ground and put into motion, day in and day out. Traction orchestrates the other components to create a culture of accountability and generate great execution.

What do you want from your business?

Whatever your vision, we’ll help you get to where you want to go.
